Overview
The Lancaster refurbishment project was one the most expansive the ISG team has undertaken to date. With sufficient facilities to host 1,800 people across two rooms, it also comprises enough rooms to accommodate over 1,000 people per night.
The project encompassed four levels, from the basement up to the second floor and was carried out in phases to ensure the hotel remained operational throughout the 22-week programme, with minimal inconvenience to staff and guests. Through careful planning and meticulous attention to detail the management of the substantial function rooms, which are frequently used to host some of the capital’s biggest events, was a complete success.
