Introduction
The international financial services company chose ISG for their 2,000 sq m tenant fit out project. The project featured state-of-the-art installations on two floors in the Marienturm building in downtown Frankfurt.
The project
Future-oriented, the client’s new workspace includes a digitised work environment with complex audiovisual technology and video conferencing tools. Functional and modern, these features enhance services for meeting rooms, sound masking solutions and complex lighting concepts for open-space areas. Booking software provides reservation technology for rooms, offices, workstations, and locker management systems.
Sustainability, comfort and safety
Sustainability, comfort and safety also played an important role in realising the vision for this project. The LEED Platinum certification verifies the high sustainability standards of the new premises, effectively supported by efficient measurement, control and regulation solutions. User-friendly operations for lighting, sun protection and air conditioning further compliment the space.Complex technology
The customer’s requirement for complex technology was a major challenge for the project team. Close coordination with various specialist trades and experts was undertaken to ensure all requirements of the HBO (Hessian Building Code) were met and implemented in full compliance with regulations. The delivery team was always ready to provide the customer with comprehensive support in planning-related issues of network technology, energy supply, fire protection and security. This facilitated the ability to identify potential problems at an early stage so the appropriate measures could be swiftly implemented.
A sophisticated logistics concept
As 85% of the building was already occupied, the expansion took place during ongoing business operations in a live environment. A sophisticated logistics concept included making certain that noise, emission and vibration protection would effectively minimize any impact on the other tenants and trades. The detailed and well-thought-out delivery concept included: Just-in-time delivery, elevator assignments, volumetric studies and carefully scheduled deliveries.
These measures collectively enabled the project team to avoid excess traffic, trucks/vehicles and disruptions to the overall flow. The project was delivered to a very satisfied customer with no disturbance to neighbouring tenants or the local community.
