Introduction
New UK base for pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare brand GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Flexible and collaborative spaces allow the global provider to implement its Business Service Centre Transformation Programme.
GlaxoSmithKline’s brief for their new office fit out was that it would drive a flexible and collaborative working environment that would encourage a cultural change within their workforce. The new space was designed around flexible working and incorporated a new auditorium, reception and catering area as well as flexible open plan office space.
The project
Setting out to design and fit out a new environment for the leading pharmaceutical company, ISG’s brief is to work towards an office that would drive a flexible working environment that would encourage a cultural change within their workforce. The office fit out is designed completely around the client's smart working guidelines and promotes flexible working.
Internally the space consists of a new auditorium and reception area in a colourful open plan office space. ISG’s fit out team also provides extensive refurbishment works to the roof.
Away from the office site the full replacement of the plant room pods are assembled offsite to ensure that the installation did not disrupt the all important roof refurbishment. External works are all carried out outside of normal working hours in order to minimise disruption to surrounding businesses.
