Open Doors 2024: Showcasing exciting career opportunities in construction
We will be partnering with Open Doors in 2024, to inspire and encourage people looking to pursue a career in construction. From Monday 18 – Saturday 23 March, we will be opening our sites and offices to prospective early careers talent, people considering a career change, and those with a keen interest in construction.
This is our seventh year supporting the industry wide initiative, which we hope inspires a new generation of people to look at the construction industry as a viable career path.
The event, delivered by Build UK, in partnership with CITB (under the banner of Go Construct), sees hundreds of locations and experiences set to take part across England, Scotland and Wales. ISG will be opening ten of their sites including our London projects, Millennium Bridge House, Collcutt House, 33 Old Broad Street, Meadow High School, and our Two Bridges Academy project in Thornbury, near Bristol, and our Station Leisure and Learning Centre project in Mablethorpe. We have also recently announced The HiVE project in Ebbw Vale, Wales will be opening its doors for the first time.
Attendees will get a first-hand look into the journey of constructing a building, the thinking behind innovative design processes, and have an opportunity to hear from members of our project teams on the variety of important roles in construction. We also understand the importance of our roles that exist outside of our sites, but are vital to project delivery, which is why we will be opening our London, Cardiff and Reading offices to the public this year.
