ISG appointed to new decarbonisation frameworks valued at £3.2bn
We have been successfully appointed to two new Pagabo frameworks, each valued at £1.6 billion. These latest awards add to our growing tally of high-profile framework wins, as we are already serving as a supplier on Pagabo’s Major Works and Refit and Refurbishment frameworks.
The first framework is dedicated to healthcare schemes, with the second instalment to support public sector organisations completing building works in all other sectors. We will now deliver decarbonisation projects for Pagabo clients across England, with project values ranging from £5 million to £15 million and £15 million+.
We have been a Pagabo framework partner since 2016, successfully delivering projects with a cumulative value of circa £200 million. These latest appointments will allow us to draw on our award-winning cross-sector experience, and in healthcare most recently with the delivery of the Oak Cancer Centre for The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, in Surrey. The state-of-the-art research and treatment facility will help accelerate the development of new cancer treatments offering hope for cancer patients worldwide. The appointments also build on the contractor’s growing low-carbon retrofit offer across all sectors, bringing expertise from across the business.
Alongside this success, we recently secured a project through the Refit and Refurbishment framework, to upgrade the Camden Campus for the Royal Veterinary College. Valued at £4 million, this scheme will deliver laboratory refurbishments, plant upgrades and replacement.
"Pagabo plays a significant role in maximising efficiencies for essential public capital works improvement programmes. It enables local authorities to engage with contractors early on in the design and development process and promotes and facilitates greater knowledge sharing that benefits all stakeholders."
Louise Daville, Director of Public Sector Strategy, ISG
Jason Stapley, chief procurement officer at Pagabo, said: “Both of our new Decarbonisation Solutions Frameworks received strong interest from suppliers and clients alike, ready to begin supporting successful energy efficiency projects across the public sector. With the growing focus on the role decarbonisation has to play in working towards and meeting net zero goals, we know that this framework – and its healthcare sister offering – will be well utilised by clients, helping them to meet their individual goals while working towards bigger picture goals at the same time.”
