ISG announces partnership with the Science Museum
ISG is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Science Museum. As part of the museum’s STEM Circle, ISG joins a group of like-minded brands with a shared goal to inspire the creative thinkers of the future to get involved with the incredible scientific and technological innovation occurring around us.
In November, the Science Museum launched a new gallery ‘Technicians: The David Sainsbury Gallery’, which explores the varied and hidden world of technicians. Featuring over 100 technician roles, visitors can explore various routes into these important careers and go behind the scenes with technicians working in the advanced manufacturing, creative arts, healthcare and renewable energy sectors.
ISG’s BIM Technician, Ana Yao Sun, was independently selected to be part of a film within the gallery, Technicians of the Future. Ana showcased her work on the Oak Cancer Centre for the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
Zoe Price, ISG’s COO, commented “Partnerships help us to reach audiences that wouldn’t necessarily view the built environment as a natural home for their passion, creativity and sense of innovation. The Science Museum’s initiative provides an excellent opportunity for ISG, and the wider construction profession, to showcase the modern day reality of building a career in an industry that is instrumental to our way of life, is at the forefront of our response to climate change and delivers the infrastructure that creates positive generational legacy.”

Deborah Myers, Director of Development at the Science Museum, added “ISG’s support for the Science Museum will enable us to provide incredible learning experiences for schoolchildren and visitors to the museum, expand awareness of the skills required to succeed in STEM fields and change the way people think and feel about science and engineering.”
We look forward to welcoming our customers, suppliers and #TeamISG to events at the museum throughout 2023.
