 Cycle for Charity 2020

ISG’s annual charity cycle challenge has gone virtual – but with a twist.

Normally this time of year would see finishing touches to plans of ISG’s annual fundraising event – Cycle for Charity.

However, adjusting to the new normal and navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, means that this year’s Cycle for Charity event will take on a whole new spin.

Around the world, many are experiencing the widespread feeling of anxiety and isolation surrounding the pandemic, which is why taking care of mental health and wellbeing is more important than ever.  In support of World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10 October 2020, ISG will be swapping out bikes and lycra for an exciting, new global challenge – Move for Charity.

The five-day virtual challenge will take place from 12-16 October 2020 and see #TeamISG get active and creative; through running, walking, cycling and swimming, in a challenge to achieve the furthest distance possible. Move for Charity will seek to clock as many miles and steps as possible around the world and across IS’s global offices.

Last year’s Cycle for Charity event saw ISG raise over £34,000 for UK charity partner, Mental Health UK – bringing ISG’s fundraising total to £140,000 for the charity since 2018. This year ISG is raising much needed funds across different mental health charities globally, including Mental Health UK and Alusamen.
