Introduction

ISG delivered the interior works for SGH Orthopedic Sports & Joints Centre, Department of Diagnostic Radiology & Health Assessment Centre.

The project

The project comprises the fit-out on Level 15 and part Level 16 of Camden Medical Centre, and across 6 departments, namely: Pharmacy, Orthopedic Diagnostic Centre, Specialist Outpatient Centre, Physiotherapy Area, Health Assessment Centre (HAC) and Department of Diagnostic Radiology (DDR).

The works at Level 15 comprised of registration and reception areas, lift lobby, waiting area, consultation and physio rooms. Level 16 works includes the lift lobby corridors, reception, waiting and receptions areas. We also constructed X-Ray and Mammogram Rooms in the DDR area at Level 16.

The quality of the finishes specified within the lobbies and toilet areas required impressive amount of coordination and detailing as well. ISG worked closely with Kyoob ID and WN Consultants to ensure that the material selections and detailing delivered the completed fit out package with high level of satisfaction from the client, SGH.

"On behalf of our Camden Project Committee, we would like to thank your team for the hard work and dedication!”

Jen Koh, Client Representative, Singapore General Hospital

Challenges

As the project was delivered within a live clinical environment, we have carefully planned the programme and logistics in such a way that there will be minimal disruption to the clinics and other tenants within Camden Medical Centre. Majority of the noisy works were scheduled to be completed out of normal operating hours while quiet and non-disruptive works were carried out during the day.
