Introduction
ISG was appointed by a leading design, engineering and consulting firm, Arcadis to provide fit out services for its office relocation in Hong Kong, situated at Two Harbour Square, Kwun Tong.
The appointment is a result of ISG’s steadfast relationship with Arcadis, established through delivering a portfolio of high quality projects for a leading bank in Hong Kong and across the world.
The project
The project saw ISG deliver the fit out of a 50,000 sq ft office space across three floors with an extensive scope to deliver for a new and collaborative workspace environment, including structural works for an internal feature staircase and associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works across all floors.
In constructing the feature staircase that connects the three floors from levels 16 to 18, significant structural alterations had to be done to the base build.
To provide a better user experience within the boardroom, function rooms and meeting rooms, ISG offered a technology-led solution involving the installation of Microsoft Surface Hub, an interactive whiteboard that encourages collaboration among teams.
The fit out was successfully completed in July 2018, following a project period of three months. The delivery of the new office provided a vibrant and collaborative workspace for Arcadis’ workforce.
