Josh joined ISG on the graduate programme, and is now a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Growing up my dad worked as a bricklayer, so I always wanted to join the construction industry. When I joined ISG’s graduate programme, I was able to learn about the behind the scenes work that goes into a building – the why and the how – rather than just the actual building of a project, which is what I learned from my dad.

I joined ISG on the industrial placement scheme working on 5 Cheapside, while completing my degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. It’s a great programme that’s not only challenging, but gives you the chance to network, meet fellow grads and learn from senior management.

I would definitely recommend ISG’s graduate programme. The network I developed with fellow grads was so helpful and played a big role in my growth. In just nine months, I was promoted from graduate trainee to assistant surveyor, which just shows that ISG really does reward hard work and dedication. I have some pretty aspiring ambitions, and ISG is helping me reach my goals.
