Introduction
Geared towards events and a community-like feeling, ISG fitted out Ford Motor Company’s Middle Eastern headquarters in the UAE. The space consists of four floors, a rooftop terrace and several large spaces for employees to gather and work collaboratively.
The office, located on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, also includes its very own car showroom.
The project
The team had to get the balance right between listening to Ford, who came with ideas on how to make the office employee-focused using their global branding guidelines, but also seeing what was physically feasible from a fit out perspective.
Working very closely with the client, we built a community area on the first floor. This area has six large meeting rooms which can be reconfigured to accommodate the whole Ford Middle East team for events and conferences. Each of the office’s four floors has a kitchen station, telephone rooms and quiet spaces equipped with modern FF&E.
We also fit out an open plan breakfast bar and pantry on the fourth floor. The space has full IT and AV capabilities for hot desking and events.
On the rooftop terrace, we installed IT and AV equipment, so employees are able to work there in the cooler months. We also fitted a wooden canopy to provide shade for Ford’s team.
