Introduction
We worked with two dramatically different buildings to create a consistent look and feel for Gibson Dunn’s existing office at Telephone House and their new premises at Carmelite Riverside.
Telephone House is a Grade II listed building, so the re-fit was subject to regulations and required sensitivity to maintain the charm of the historic building.
The project
The project, which covered 30,000 sq ft, was completed in two parts over a 34 week period. A smooth transition between phases enabled business to continue as usual during the works.
When global law company, Gibson Dunn, acquired an extra office premises for their London operations, we designed a contemporary, yet classic, fit out that created a consistent style across the two very different spaces.
The build included creating individual offices for the firm’s partners and secretarial bays for administration and supportive staff. The buildings were specially designed with appropriate acoustic levels to ensure privacy during sensitive meetings.
