Overview
Invesco is one of the world's leading independent investment companies. The company offers professional investment consultancy to private and institutional clients in over 20 countries. Following the successful realisation of projects in Brussels and Frankfurt, ISG was commissioned for the Munich branch. Situated in the heart of Munich, the new office for Invesco is located next to a number of popular landmarks including the Sendlinger Strasse shopping precinct and Germany’s most famous baroque church, Asamkirche. The stylish design replicates the high-quality environment that Invesco demands across its international office network.

The project
Our client rents a 1,000 sq m office space in the historically designated and protected Sueddeutsche Verlag publishing house. The company commissioned ISG based on our project competence and the high standards we demonstrate as fit out and technical building equipment specialists. The new offices are located close to the "Sendlinger Tor" shopping area. The fit out was based on designs provided by ABA and RAW Design from England and an adherence to Invesco’s distinctive corporate design standard. Seen throughout its European offices, Invesco’s corporate design encompasses outstanding carpentry work as well as a distinctive control system with illuminated world maps indicating all the Invesco sites. In addition, our delivery of complex technical building equipment and security technology for approximately 65 employees required specialist knowledge from the project team.
Challenge
The area referred to as “Hofstatt” is a newly established district on Sendlinger Straße. Alongside the historically designated old buildings that are officially protected, the area is also home to new buildings, as well as numerous shops and residences. The construction works in this unique area required particularly careful planning on the part of construction site logistics and project management.
