Introduction
ISG’s fit out project for CMS at Cannon Place, London, won the Best Fit Out of Workplace at the British Council for Offices (BCO) London & South East Awards 2016.
The project
One of many logistical challenges involved the manoeuvring of a single 14-metre, three and a half tonne solid steel beam which had to be installed into the building in one piece.
CMS was relocating from their established offices to a new 160,000 sq ft open plan space at Cannon Place.
The project involved installing two feature staircases linking all three floors. On the first floor, the team designed a brand new reception complete with a striking 17th century map of London.
A new staff restaurant was installed on the first floor. The award winning studio-style open plan fit out also included new IT infrastructure.
