Introduction
BP, one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, needed a new office to home over a thousand employees. We delivered a purpose built space overlooking the beautiful Bedfont Lakes nature reserve.
Because the design of the building is at an angle, the fit out specification of floors, walls and lighting had to be tailored in an unusual way.
The project
The new building has room for over one thousand desks and has been designed to maximise the wellbeing of BP employees. We fitted a full gym, complete with showers on the basement level, and installed 1,000 square feet of decking area overlooking the beautiful Bedfont Lakes National Reserve.
We also created a reception area and meeting rooms on the first floor, fitted with high-spec audio visual facilities for fully-immersive teleconferencing, plus a kitchen and restaurant for staff and visitors on the ground floor.
