ISG in Singapore recognised as a bizSAFE Partner
The WSH Council is part of the Ministry of Manpower, working closely with the industry stakeholders to raise health and safety standards in Singapore. This recognition is a testament to ISG’s commitment to continuously improving health & safety practices across its operation. ISG in Singapore is one of the few construction companies to have this accreditation.
Steve Ramsden managing director for Southeast Asia and Middle East & South at ISG said: “We pride ourselves on being an industry leader in health and safety standards, with a dedicated HSQE team using a global management safety system to provide a structured approach to the management of risk.”
To secure bizSAFE partner accreditation, ISG was able to demonstrate extensive engagement with employees and supply chain partners through dedicated training programs to ensure regular knowledge sharing of latest safety regulations. The company has also developed an incident reporting system, that enables timely recording and robust investigation of any incidents.
“Securing this accreditation is a major collaborative effort between our teams and partners, and it’s our collective focus on achieving the highest possible standards of health and safety excellence that we hope sets a benchmark for performance across our sector and beyond.”

ISG regularly conducts HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and actively collaborates with an independent safety review panel to evaluate performance and implement change and improvements where recommended. The launch of an ISG safety recognition program, to acknowledge and reward outstanding performance and ensure long term commitment from all project partners further cements the company’s commitment to safe operational excellence.
