Lars Schmitt becomes Head of the Munich branch of ISG
Lars Schmitt (63) takes over the leadership of the ISG Munich branch. He previously held this position from 2019 to 2020. As the Divisional Director for Munich, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, project execution, and further expansion of business in the Greater Munich area.
A trained constructor of building systems, Schmitt is an expert in project and construction management with over 30 years of professional experience in Germany and the CEE region. As a project manager, Schmitt has overseen projects with budgets exceeding one billion euros, including hotels, an airport terminal, offices, technology parks, and factories. These projects were located in Germany, Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, and Ukraine. His most recent role was with a global construction company, where he led a team of over 130 employees.
Lars Schmitt commented, "I am excited about my new role, which allows me to provide tenants with extensive interior fit-out solutions, including complex building systems. There is growing pressure on commercial property owners to implement retrofit measures. After all, building energy performance influences investment decisions and thus tenant demand. ISG offers a wealth of expertise to help its clients achieve their CO2 reduction goals for their properties. Munich is one of Germany's most attractive locations with many intriguing construction projects. ISG wants to contribute to making the city and region even more future-proof."
ISG's Central European headquarter is located in Frankfurt, and the company has branches in Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Geneva, and Luxembourg.
