ISG welcomes Sara Purvis to lead the Berlin office, strengthening the local management and core tenant fit out business
ISG has appointed Sara Purvis MRICS as Divisional Director for the Berlin branch. Sara Purvis completes the local management team in Germany, alongside Andrew Zacharias in Frankfurt and Lars Schmitt in Munich. In her new role, Purvis leads a team of 20 employees, assuming overall responsibility for business activities and projects in northern Germany.
Purvis brings a profound knowledge of project developments in Germany, especially in the commercial office market. Most recently, in her previous role at The Office Group, she spearheaded the company’s entire German market entry – with a total area of 35,000 square meters within five buildings in three cities. Purvis also contributed to project developments in Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom, realising projects in office, hotel, residential, healthcare, and neighbourhood development asset classes. Among other qualifications, she holds a degree in Urban Planning from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and a certificate in Construction Project Management from the RICS Academy. A member of the internationally recognised MRICS, she has worked as a Chartered Surveyor for the past 10 years.
Martyn Peters, Managing Director Germany at ISG, commented: "With Sara Purvis in Berlin, Andrew Zacharias in Frankfurt and Lars Schmitt in Munich, we have a strong local management team in key German markets with many years of experience, a large network and in-depth market knowledge. This enables us to enhance our response to the needs of our customers, providing them with the best possible support in realising high-quality fit out projects, locally and across markets."
Sara Purvis stated: "I am excited about my new role, supporting businesses that require modern, flexible, and sustainably designed office spaces. High-quality, new workspaces can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions and are crucial when competing for skilled professionals. Our special emphasis on interior fit out works, particularly in existing buildings, where targeted retrofit measures such as revitalisation and renovation, along with the applying ESG criteria are required – can create significant added value for our clients. As the city of Berlin is the political and economic centre of Germany, it remains a highly attractive location for companies. I look forward to supporting ISG in realising premium workplace fit out and large-scale projects, especially for international and national companies, catering to existing and new clients."
