Lars Schmitt, Divisonal Director Munich

Lars Schmitt resumed his leadership of the ISG branch in Munich in September 2023, where he is responsible for business operations and project management. Previously, he successfully held this position from November 2019 until June 2020. Returning as Divisional Director Munich, he will further expand and strengthen ISG's business activities in the Munich region.

With over 30 years of experience in project and construction management, Lars brings an impressive wealth of expertise. Beyond having acquired extensive experience as a project developer during his career, he has also built a solid foundation in marketing, design, and operational project management.

Most recently, he acted as Operations Lead for the DACH region at DPR Construction, the international leading construction company, that specialises in data centres. His responsibilities in this role involved overseeing over 130 employees engaged in realising major projects. His work also involved actively developing proposals and selecting the most effective subcontractors.

Lars is committed to delivering comprehensive end-to-end fit outs, including complex building technology systems, from planning to execution to tenants with substantial space requirements – his daily endeavours are dedicated to meeting these challenges.

After completing an apprenticeship as a design engineer for building systems, he then worked as a project manager at various reputable engineering firms. The 63 year old has been responsible for overseeing major projects in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Croatia, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, and Germany since 2002.
