ISG Switzerland celebrates its 15th anniversary
The guests were welcomed with a welcome drink, followed by an entertaining quiz and a warm greeting by Daniel Ngai Kocher, the Managing Director of Switzerland. Following that, the guests were treated to a buffet. A special highlight of the celebration included a beer tasting with a brewery tour and a schnapps tasting for all present.
An anniversary is always an opportunity to look back. ISG entered the Swiss market in 2008. Since then, the business has consistently grown, and Switzerland has become a significant sub-market for ISG within the CEE region. The international construction company is involved in interior fit outs in both the office and retail sectors, serving global banks, tech companies, and pharmaceutical companies among its clients. ISG maintains offices in Zurich and Geneva.
Daniel Ngai-Kocher, Managing Director of Switzerland, commented: "I am very pleased to mark ISG's 15th anniversary in Switzerland. We started relatively small in 2008 – the year of the major financial crisis. Since then, we have come a long way and achieved a great success story that we can be proud of. Switzerland has now become one of the key markets for ISG in Europe. With its many international banks, global pharmaceutical companies, and tech firms, the market is highly attractive to us. Additionally, we also handle many retail property fit-outs in Switzerland."
Daniel Ngai-Kocher continued: "A lot has happened in the past 15 years. In particular, office real estate has undergone rapid changes during this time. In 2008, the term 'home office' was virtually unknown, but today, it's part of our daily lives. We have overcome many challenges during this time, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. I would like to take this anniversary as an opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our clients, partners and employees. Without them, the significant success of ISG Switzerland would not have been possible."
