Real estate and development opportunities must provide funders with confidence in committing to capital investments, demonstrate an ethical footprint and provide project predictability.
Today’s spaces need to be more attractive and flexible than ever before. In a climate where businesses are under pressure to achieve more with less, certainty of returns and asset resilience is key – meeting these needs is reliant on top quality spaces that meet the highest environmental standards.
With our breadth of expertise, we deliver new builds, complex refurbishments and high-quality spaces that maximise the lettable floor area and can adapt to changing needs into the future. Through our work across a range of projects, from repurposing office space and retail outlets to building major logistics and distribution centres, we provide places that are ready for immediate use.
One such place is our Two Central Square scheme for Rightacres in Cardiff, which sits adjacent to BBC headquarters and is the second of a trio of projects that are creating a vibrant gateway to the Welsh capital. As part of the scheme we also delivered high end spaces, including the headquarters for law firm, Hugh James – an office space recognised as the British Council for Offices (BCO) Best Corporate Workplace in South England and South Wales
“Our Two Central Square building was completed to a high quality, on time and to the agreed budget. As part of this project, ISG constructed an outstanding facility for both The Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies (JOMEC) and Hugh James – both exacting and challenging fit outs. This is another example of ISG’s collaborative approach to project delivery.”

From efficient building methods to retrofit solutions and the social aspects that now inform development projects, our dedicated teams understand the pertinent issues, creating high-quality, tailored spaces to match. We know the construction phase presents investment risk, and delivery assurance must win out.
A case in point is our refurbishment and extension of the seven-storey White Chapel Building in London, which sits between two underground rail stations. Working above a busy train line, our team relied on careful planning, working closely with Transport for London (TfL) to avoid disruption to the underground network and the new cycle superhighway, which was taking shape outside the building.
Great partnerships are about trust – it’s how we provide real value. We have honest conversations with our partners – be it clients, developers, investors or suppliers – and adopt a solution-focused approach to the challenges we face. We thrive on collaboration, taking pride in delivering on our commitments, providing value for money, and creating spaces that meet client need – it’s just one of the reasons why we have so many long-term relationships.
We understand the needs of our clients and the people that use their spaces. Our partnership with Alliance Leisure now spans over 25 projects, work that has revitalised local authority leisure facilities to a standard rivalling those in the private sector. We work hard to ensure that Alliance Leisure’s end users and local communities remain engaged and benefit from our collaborative way of working.
