ISG in the Middle East to refurbish Dubai's Capital Club

ISG, fit out specialists in Dubai, has been awarded a design and build (D&B) contract to provide refurbishment of Capital Club – the first private business club in the region to be located within leading financial hub, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The multi-phased scheme will see ISG delivering the prestigious fit out of a 44,000 sq ft space across three levels with a scope of work that includes interior design, construction, engineering services, commissioning, and associated works.

Following a nine-month programme, ISG has since completed design-related work for Capital Club’s facilities such as, meeting and event spaces, a majlis lounge, gallery, private meeting rooms, and dining spaces.

Construction activities are set to commence in three separate phases with a view for completion by end summer 2020. Working within a live environment, ISG will be ensuring minimal disruption to Capital Club’s business operations.

In explaining the project scope, Ian Palmer, general manager of Capital Club said: “The refurbishment of the Capital Club has been on table for the last 18-months and the scope has evolved significantly, and is now a full upgrade of the club’s amenities and back of house facilities, as well as renewal of our building services to increase energy efficiency, and enhance sustainability credentials.”
